- The S-281/G is a modified S-141/G and/or S-280/G general-purpose shelter. Modifications entail equipping the generalpurpose shelter with electrical wiring and components, tiedowns, a power cable reel, and an air conditioner. The S-281/G is a thermally insulated enclosure of aluminum sandwich construction. It is fully weatherinsulated, electrically shielded, and designed for mounting on a 2-1/2-ton cargo truck.
