The S-180/MTA-4 is the shelter of the Telephone Switching and Connecting Goup AN~MTA-4, part of the Manual Telephone Switching Central AN~MTC-1. It is a modified S-141/G Shelter.
The shelter on the photographs is a S-180/MTA-4A, the successor of the S-180/MTA-4. It is a modified S-141B/G:
