Overview
The range of frequency is generated in only one band, from 20 to 35000 Hz.
The method of generation is different from other signal generators:
the variable frequency oscillator operates from 100 to 135 Khz, its output is beated with a fixed oscillator of 100 Khz in a mixer
the output of which, filtered and amplified, is the signal at the output connector.
The output is relatively a low distortion one due to the method of generation,
and a high level one with the push-pull final amplifier, two 6V6.
In the model SG-15A for the fixed oscillator is used a xtal oscillator, instead of the LC of the SG-15
