Antenna Assembly AS-574/URR was designed primarely for use with the Radio Receiving Set AN~URR-29 as a receiving antenna. It was used in conjunction with Radio Receiver R-220/URR (a component of Radio Receiving Set AN/URR-29) for bidirectional reception of rf signals in the vhf spectrum.
