Radio direction finder
- The Semiportable Radio Direction Finder, Type SCR-142 was designed and constructed by the Engineering Division of the Air Service for use by the coast defense. These direction-finding stations are to be used to assist the Air Service in adjusting fire for the Coast Artillery, particularly in placing the first shot on a given target.
