This is a simple speaker that is used with the SINCGARS series radios. This speaker can be adapted for use with other systems. this is an amplified speaker and will need 24 volts to function properly.
Simple hookup for use as a general speaker
- PINOUT
- A
- Ground (Both Audio and Power)
- B
- Unswitched 24v (not used in simple hookup)
- C
- Switched 24V in
- D
- Switched 24V out
- K
- RX Audio in (hook audio to this)
- S
- Remote PTT
- U
- Transmit Audio
To make this function as a simple speaker, connect the following:
- A - Power and Audio Grounds
- C - 24 volt power source
- K - To Audio out from radio
