The AN/MRC-115 is a radio terminal set that provides nonsecure radio facilities in forward areas. It contains two complete equipment sets, each capable of providing a 6- or 12-channel PCM terminal. The AN/MRC-115 could also be deployed as a 6- or 12-channel radio repeater.
The AN/MRC-115 mounts on a 1/4-ton trailer and requires a portable generator set (1.5 kilowatts (kw) SF-1.5 MD/SIED) carried on a 1/4- ton truck (M-151).
