he AN/MRC-107A is a mobile radio set consisting of HF (SSB), VHF (AM), VHF (FM), and UHF (AM) radios and a M-151A1 1/4-ton truck (Jeep). This set can be operated with internal (vehicular) power, external power, or emergency power (battery), in either a fixed or mobile configuration. It has a remoting capability using the AN/GRA-39 Remote Set. This set enables remoting capability of up to three miles for any of the radio sets installed. The radio and vehicle are "drip proof" and can be operated during inclement weather. Storage facilities are available for the associated back pack radio sets (PRC-47 and PRC-41), with a built-in batter (BB-451) charger for these radios.
