The TD-204/U is a 12-, 24-, or 48-channel PCM cable transmission inter face unit. Its transmit section accepts TDM-PCM output signals from a TD-353/U; or from one or two TD-352/U's, a TD-202/U, a TD-203/U; or another TD-204/U, and processes the signals for cable transmission. The receive section accepts a PCM signal from a transmission cable and processes and retimes it. The TD-204/U also provides power for up to 39 TD-206/G's in the transmission cable.
